Summary
Maintenance Engineer performs preventive and reactive maintenance on industrial equipment, PLC/SCADA systems, and building utilities in a chemical or manufacturing facility.
- Working Days: Mon-Friday (8:30am - 5:30pm )
- Salary: SGD 3,500 – SGD 4,800
- Working Location: Tuas West Road
Job Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate and execute preventive maintenance, including IMTE / calibration of plant equipment.
- Plan and coordinate routine and ad-hoc maintenance for building and utility systems.
- Perform hands-on maintenance and basic electrical / instrumentation troubleshooting.
- Carry out basic fault diagnosis and troubleshooting on PLC-controlled systems, SCADA and HMI.
- Support new equipment installation, upgrades, feasibility study and planning.
- Liaise with and supervise contractors for maintenance and repair works.
- Prepare technical documents, including approval papers, work instructions, training materials and submissions to authorities.
- Support spare parts and inventory management, including quotation sourcing, price negotiation and ordering.
- Support the Technical Department in EHS activities, including risk assessment and compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
- Perform other maintenance and technical support duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Degree / Diploma in Electrical & Instrumentation, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or related discipline
- Experience in chemical industry will be an advantage.
- Basic to working knowledge of PLC, SCADA and HMI systems, including basic troubleshooting and fault diagnosis.
- Basic understanding of electrical systems and / or instrumentation.
- LEW licence will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of Risk Assessment and FMEA.
- Familiar with EHS requirements and ISO 14001 / 45001 / 9001.
- AutoCAD knowledge will be an added advantage
