JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for supporting the overall operation, maintenance, and repair of the hotel. This role focuses on guest room preventative maintenance, completing assigned work orders, and responding to guest service requests to ensure a safe, functional and well-maintained environment.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

The Hotel operates 24 hours a day and 7 days a week, so operational demands require variations in shift days, starting times, and hours worked in a week.
- Assist with assigned maintenance projects and renovations as directed by the Chief Engineer.
- Perform preventative maintenance assignments on a schedule basis (e.g., “room care”).
- Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests and service calls.
- Maintains the building exterior and “curb appeal” (e.g., lawn care, painting, and gardening).
- Perform basic repairs including carpentry, drywall, and painting.
- Adheres to all company policies and procedures.
- Follows safety and security procedures and rules.
- Knows department fire prevention and emergency procedures.
- Utilizes protective equipment.
- Reports unsafe conditions to supervisor.
- Reports accidents, injuries, near-misses, property damage or loss to supervisor.
- Provide a safe work environment by following all safety and security procedures and rules.
- All team members must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance. (Specific standards outlined in team member handbook).
- Assists other Engineering Personnel when needed.
- Perform any related duties as requested by supervisor/manager.
