Job Description:

The main responsibilities of the Maintenance Manager will be:
❖ Manages the plant maintenance staff, programs, and processes, typically under direction of the Plant Operations Manager, to ensure safety, timely and efficient operation of all plant machinery and equipment.
❖ Manages the staff, processes, and activities for maintaining all plant machinery to ensure safe, continual, and efficient operation.
❖ Ensures that periodic and preventive maintenance are appropriately scheduled and accomplished, and that emergency troubleshooting and maintenance support are readily available as needed.
❖ Oversees maintenance goal setting, activity scheduling, work performance and performance management to ensure measurable goals, proper workload distribution, goal satisfaction and effective staff performance management.
❖ Monitors and continually improves maintenance processes and maintenance personnel performance to achieve enhanced levels of efficiency.
❖ Manages maintenance employee outcomes by selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining associates. Communicates job expectations, planning, monitoring, and appraising job contributions, and recommends compensation actions, adhering to policies and procedures.
❖ Leads maintenance operational standards by contributing information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, customer-service, safety, security, and health standards; resolving problems; identifying system improvements.
❖ Evaluates systems and equipment performance by conferring with operating departments, identifying problems and requirements.
❖ Keeps systems and equipment operating by implementing a preventive maintenance program, operating, and testing systems and equipment.

Ensures repairs on systems and equipment by managing the restoring, repairing, rebuilding, or replacing faulty or inoperative components and parts.
❖ Improves systems and equipment performance by studying performance results, identifying, recommending, and implementing changes, expansions, and additions.
❖ Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by adhering to organization standards and policies, and to legal regulations; immediately addressing issues and alerting others regarding potential concerns.
❖ Prepares maintenance information and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
❖ Contributes to maintenance and organization success by welcoming related, different, and new requests; helping others accomplish job results.
❖ Manages plant maintenance personnel, schedules, and processes.
❖ Manages the results of maintenance employees by selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, training, advising, and disciplining associates.
❖ Evaluates the performance of consulting systems and teams with operational departments.
❖ Keeps systems and equipment running by implementing a preventive maintenance program; Operates and tests systems and equipment.
❖ Guarantees the repair of systems and equipment by managing the restoration, repair, reconstruction or replacement of defective or inoperative components and parts
❖ Facilities Management: Proven experience managing facility operations and maintenance, ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and compliance of critical plant infrastructure, including utilities, building systems, HVAC, and support services.
❖ Water Treatment Systems: Strong expertise in the operation, maintenance, and optimization of industrial water and wastewater treatment plants, ensuring environmental compliance, system reliability, preventive maintenance execution, and effective troubleshooting of treatment processes.
❖ Electrical Substations: Extensive experience managing medium- and high-voltage electrical substations, power distribution networks, preventive and predictive maintenance programs, electrical safety standards, and initiatives aimed at improving power system reliability and energy performance.
❖ Compressed Air Systems: Proven expertise in the operation, maintenance, and optimization of industrial compressed air systems, including air compressors, dryers, filters, and distribution networks, ensuring uninterrupted production support, equipment reliability, and energy efficiency.
❖ All other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Education

  • Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or related with Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience developing the position of Maintenance Manager.
  • Advanced English.
  • Experience in plant maintenance, programs, and processes. Ensure safety, timely and efficient operation of all plant machinery and equipment for maintaining all plant machinery.
  • Experience in production, productivity, quality, customer-service, safety, security, and health standards; resolving problems and identifying system improvements.
  • Indicator Management.
  • Experience on personnel management.
  • Experience in predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance.
  • Facilities Management: Experience managing plant facilities, utilities, and building systems to ensure operational reliability and compliance.
  • Water Treatment Systems: Knowledge of industrial water and wastewater treatment systems, including operation, maintenance, and regulatory compliance.
  • Electrical Substations: Experience with medium- and high-voltage substations, power distribution systems, and electrical safety standards.
