Maintenance Manager
Summary:
The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of equipment, machinery, and facilities to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair cabinet production equipment, including CNC machines, saws, edge banders, sanders, and finishing equipment
- Manage and perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and facilities
- Ensure all machinery operates efficiently to minimize downtime and production delays
- Support production teams by responding quickly to maintenance issues on the floor
- Schedule and perform preventive maintenance to extend equipment life
- Maintain proper operation of dust collection, air compression, and material handling systems
- Ensure compliance with safety, OSHA, and manufacturing standards
- Assist with equipment installation, upgrades, and layout changes as needed
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed
- Keep basic maintenance records and reports
Qualifications:
- 3+ Experience in maintenance or facility management. Previous experience in a manufacturing or woodworking environment a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Ability to manage priorities and work independently
- Rugged knowledge on electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic troubleshooting skills
- Strong computer skills, ability to create reports in Excel and Microsoft Word
- Physical dexterity, able to lift to 50 LBS
