MAINTENANCE MANAGER

TITLE: Maintenance Manager

POSITION OBJECTIVE: This position is responsible for managing the plant maintenance and projects in a cost-effective and safe manner that will maximize equipment uptime.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.
Four-year university or college degree, or minimum 8 years’ experience in polymer.
Maintenance Management or related field.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Good analytical and planning skills.

POSITIONS REPORTING DIRECTLY TO THE POSTION:

Electrical Supervisor
Mechanical Supervisor
Electrical Technician
Mechanical Technician

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage Maintenance Section functions.
Evaluate/Approve engineering project design and budget.
Execute special improvement projects.
Oversee new equipment installation.
Must know and follow all ISO procedures for Maintenance Section.
Approve ISO procedure, P.M., records forms, and time sheets of hourly personnel.
Analyze downtime and reports and monthly performance reports, etc.
Approve yearly budget.
Evaluations for Maintenance Section.
Other duties as assigned by Plant Manager
Approve parts purchase/repair.
