Maintenance Manager- Roswell, GA
We are seeking an experienced maintenance supervisor to lead maintenance operations at a multifamily community in Roswell, GA. This community requires a leader who is hands-on, organized, and capable of improving operational efficiency while maintaining strong resident service standards.
The ideal candidate has experience managing older multifamily assets, understands preventative maintenance, and can effectively lead a maintenance team while controlling expenses and vendor usage.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all maintenance operations for the community
- Manage apartment turns, service requests, preventative maintenance, and curb appeal
- Supervise maintenance technicians and porter staff
- Ensure timely completion of resident service requests and make-ready schedules
- Troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, and building system issues
- Monitor inventory, supply ordering, and maintenance expenses
- Coordinate vendors and ensure work is completed to company standards
- Participate in on-call rotation and emergency response
- Conduct regular inspections of building systems, vacant apartments, and grounds
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of multifamily maintenance experience required
- Prior maintenance supervisor experience preferred
- EPA certification required
- Strong HVAC troubleshooting experience preferred
- Experience with plumbing, electrical, appliances, and general carpentry
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Experience operating older multifamily communities preferred
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
