Maintenance Mechanic (4723)

Job Purpose:
- The Maintenance position at the Housing Authority of the City of Newark is integral to ensuring the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of residential properties. The role involves performing routine maintenance tasks, addressing urgent repair needs, and contributing to the overall upkeep of the housing facilities to provide a safe and comfortable living environment for residents.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections of residential properties to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Perform a variety of maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting to maintain the functionality and appearance of the housing facilities.
