Maintenance Planner

Summary

Plans and schedules maintenance activities for industrial plant equipment to ensure safety, reliability, and minimal downtime, using SAP and Microsoft tools.

• Plan, schedule, and coordinate preventive maintenance, breakdown repairs, and shutdown activities.

• Ensure engineering and statutory compliance to maintain plant safety, reliability, and performance.

• Prioritize maintenance activities to minimize unplanned downtime and operational disruptions.

• Coordinate manpower, materials, training, and contractor resources for maintenance works.

• Act as the key liaison between Maintenance, Production, Engineering, and contractors.

• Manage daily and weekly maintenance schedules and communicate work progress updates.

• Secure maintenance windows with Production and ensure adequate resources areavailable.

• Maintain accurate maintenance, equipment, and calibration records.

• Analyze maintenance data and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

• Provide troubleshooting support and guidance to technicians.

• Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related Engineering/Technical disciplines.

• 3–5years of relevant maintenance or engineering experience; fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

• Experience in the Chemical, Oil & Gas, Pharmaceutical, or Manufacturing industry is preferred.

• Knowledge of SAP Maintenance modules (e.g., IP10, IW28, IW38), with strong planning, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.

• Good communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
