Job Title: Maintenance Planner

Location: Des Moines, IA
Duration: 1+ Year Contract
Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite
Shift: 1st Shift, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Overtime: Possible during regular workdays and/or weekends based on business needs

Position Overview

We are seeking a Maintenance Planner to support maintenance activities within a manufacturing/factory environment. This is a fully onsite, shop-floor-focused position requiring an individual who is comfortable working in an active manufacturing environment and spending approximately 80% of the workday on their feet.

The position may also require movement between different areas of the facility and occasional travel to nearby facilities.

Work Environment & Key Expectations

• Position is 100% onsite with no remote work option.
• Work will primarily be performed within a factory/shop-floor environment.
• Approximately 80% of the workday will be spent on your feet within the factory.
• Must be comfortable working around manufacturing operations.
• Must be willing to work overtime as business needs require, including possible weekend work.
• Business casual dress code.
• Metatarsal safety boots are required on the first day.
• Candidate must be comfortable with occasional travel between areas of the facility and nearby facilities.
• Visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future for this position.

Transportation Requirements

• The position may require operating a company-owned Gator utility vehicle inside the factory to travel between different work areas.
• Candidates must successfully complete the required safety training before being approved to operate the Gator.
• The Gator may be used to transport a computer, parts, or tools between factory areas.
• Other employees may occasionally ride along when traveling to the same area.
• The Gator will be operated indoors only.
• The worker may occasionally need to use their personal vehicle to travel to other facilities within approximately a 20-mile radius.
• Rental cars will not be used for this local travel.
