We are currently seeking a dependable, hardworking Porter / Groundskeeper to join our maintenance team at an apartment community in Tavares, Florida.

What You'll Do

As a Porter / Groundskeeper, you'll work closely with the property management and maintenance teams to maintain the appearance, cleanliness, and overall condition of the community.

Your responsibilities will include:

Maintain property grounds and help ensure the community remains clean, attractive, and welcoming.

Inspect and clean common areas throughout the community.

Clean and maintain hallways, stairways, breezeways, entrances, and other shared spaces.

Pick up litter and debris throughout the property and exterior grounds.

Maintain the property's trash and compactor areas and help ensure waste is handled appropriately.

Assist with keeping dumpster and trash collection areas clean and organized.

Support the maintenance team with day-to-day property needs and projects.

Assist with light groundskeeping and exterior property upkeep as needed.

Identify and promptly report maintenance concerns, property damage, safety hazards, or unusual conditions.

Assist with preparing common areas and exterior spaces for inspections, resident events, or property visits.

Use company equipment, tools, and supplies safely and responsibly.

Provide courteous and professional service when interacting with residents, vendors, and team members.

Follow Cagan safety practices, policies, and community standards.

Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned to support the operational needs of the community.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is dependable, takes initiative, and takes pride in maintaining a property residents are proud to call home.

Schedule

Full-time

8-hour shifts

Primarily Monday through Friday

Weekends as needed

On-call or schedule flexibility may be required based on community needs
