JOB Summary:
Assists in maintenance of Midnight Mission Building Facilities to ensure the safety of our buildings.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Performs routine maintenance tasks such as fixing structural damage: windows, doors, or walls.
- Repairs broken and/or leaking plumbing to avoid water potential damage including use of all water fixtures.
- Correct damaged electrical wiring when a shortage or severed are reported.
- Maintain building HVAC equipment in order to keep climate control in the facility functioning properly.
- Work with team to identify potential problems throughout the building to identify potential problems.
- Painting the building when old paint has become faded or chipped.
- Overseeing all aspects of OSHA inspections including Overseeing expectations and maintaining facility to OSHA standards, weekly walkthroughs, and inspections.
- Serving as a role model to demonstrate appropriate behaviors.
- Establishes and maintains open, collaborative relationships with employees and ensures employees do the same within the team.
- Solicits employee feedback, utilizes an "open door" policy and reviews employee satisfaction results to identify and address employee problems or concerns.
- Performs duties in team members absence or determine appropriate replacement to fill gaps.
- Ensures that all TMM policies are administered fairly and consistently.
