Maintenance Specialist
Summary
Performs general maintenance tasks across hospital facilities, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and life safety systems, to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.

- Performs corrective and preventative work on buildings, including diagnosing and repairing maintenance issues in residential units and common areas.
- Uses work order system to track and maintain work requests.
- Performs moderately complex plumbing, carpentry, ground maintenance, drywall, painting and electrical tasks.
- Replaces or repairs electrical components, including GFCI outlets, switches, and fixtures, as needed.
- Assists with basic HVAC and building automation functions.
- Moves equipment, furniture, and facilities supplies in between properties.
- Maintains and operates the fire suppression and detection systems.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with residents regarding maintenance requests and repairs.
- Follows company policies, safety procedures, and quality standards

- Must be HIPAA compliant
- Three years of previous maintenance experience required, including painting, drywall, plumbing and basic electrical repair
- Experience in an on-site property maintenance setting preferred.
