We are seeking a skilled, reliable, and hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to join our team.The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee the day-to-day maintenance of the hotel's facilities, equipment, utilities, and building infrastructure, ensuring that all systems operate safely, efficiently, and with minimal disruption to guests and hotel operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise daily maintenance and repair activities across the hotel.
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical, plumbing, mechanical, HVAC, and other facility systems.
- Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Respond promptly to maintenance emergencies and equipment breakdowns.
- Supervise maintenance technicians and artisans.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and service schedules.
- Monitor generators, water systems, pumps, air-conditioning units, electrical systems, and other critical equipment.
- Coordinate external technicians and contractors when required.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hotel maintenance standards.
- Monitor maintenance tools, spare parts, and consumables.
- Liaise with Housekeeping, Front Office, Food & Beverage, and other departments to resolve maintenance issues.
- Prepare regular maintenance reports and recommend repairs, replacements, or upgrades.
Requirements
- OND Eng. or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Technology, Facilities Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3–5 years' relevant maintenance experience, preferably within a hotel, hospitality, commercial, or residential environment.
- Strong practical knowledge of electrical, plumbing, mechanical, HVAC, and general building maintenance.
- Previous supervisory experience is an advantage.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to respond effectively to emergencies and work under pressure.
- Strong communication, organizational, and team-management skills.
- Must be hands-on, reliable, proactive, and safety-conscious.
