An industry leader in Property Management is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team! The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Maintenance Supervisor/Lead Maintenance Tech with 3 years or more of multifamily property experience, and
possess superb leadership skills, a drive to achieve financial excellence, and an adaptable work style. This position is in the Jacksonville, FL area.

Job Requirements:

  • 3 or more years of experience as a Multifamily Maintenance Lead/Supervisor
  • Highly organized, with the ability to oversee personnel, manage projects, and direct the entire maintenance program
  • Excellent communication & relationship-building abilities
  • Proficient in HVAC, plumbing, and appliance repair
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude and leadership capabilities
  • Effective time management skills with an ability to adhere to required deadlines
  • Certification in HVAC

Responsibilities:

  • Performs all duties and responsibilities incumbent upon a maintenance mechanic, including carpentry, masonry, painting, heating and air conditioning, appliance repair, exterminating, swimming pool maintenance, and reading plans and drawings.
  • Communicates and coordinates daily with the Property Manager on overall maintenance programs, projects, and expenditures.
  • Inspects vacant apartments, buildings, grounds, and public areas periodically.
  • Schedules and helps drive preventative maintenance programs, service requests, apartment turnover, and other maintenance procedures.
  • Resolves issues that involve all assigned personnel, enforces safety practices, and coordinates with the Property Manager in setting up training programs to help educate individuals in all aspects of building maintenance.
  • Assists with property cleanliness and curb appeal to include grounds and common area pickup or lawn maintenance as needed.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
