Maintenance Supervisor

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee and coordinate all maintenance activities at our facility located in Harvest, AL. The ideal candidate will lead a team of maintenance technicians to ensure the efficient operation, repair, and upkeep of equipment and infrastructure, maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage the daily activities of the maintenance team.
• Plan, schedule, and prioritize maintenance tasks to minimize downtime.
• Inspect equipment and facilities to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance programs to extend equipment life and reduce breakdowns.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate maintenance staff performance.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory.
• Collaborate with other departments to support operational goals.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety regulations, and environmental standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in maintenance management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work flexible hours and respond to emergency maintenance needs.
