Key Responsibilities We're looking for a maintenance supervisor to keep our hotel humming, inside and out. You'll get hands-on, lead contractors and team members, and deliver top-tier maintenance across every department.Perform routine repairs and maintenance across hotel facilities and guest areas.Respond promptly to guest and departmental requests for assistance or repairs.Deliver effective maintenance services across all hotel departments, ensuring timely completion of work requests via myBuildings.Manage and coordinate contractors, ensuring compliance with safety standards and quality expectationsImplement and review preventative maintenance plans to maintain operational efficiency and reduce downtimeEnsure compliance with OH&S, WHS, and Australian Standards, maintaining a safe environment for guests and staffMonitor and maintain essential services, including fire safety systems, to ensure full operational readinessAssist with budgeting and cost control for Repairs & Maintenance, including procurement and expenditure trackingMaintain secure key and access card management in line with company policiesSupport planning and execution of capital works projects as requiredWhat you bringProven experience in building maintenance or engineering, ideally within hospitality or similar environmentsStrong hands-on technical skills with the ability to manage and delegate tasks to contractorsFamiliarity with maintenance management systems (e.g., myBuildings) and related processesKnowledge of OH&S, WHS, and Australian Standards for building compliance and safetyExperience managing contractors and ensuring high-quality, safe work practicesAbility to develop and implement preventative maintenance plans and auditsSound understanding of fire safety systems and essential services complianceStrong budgeting and cost-control skills for repairs & maintenance expenditureHow You WorkDaymaker ethos — no one’s too big for the small things.Owner’s mindset — acts on data/feedback; ships improvements.Growth mindset — learns, shares, and levels up others.Perks from Day OneAs part of EVT, you unlock Elevate Perks from your first day.
