Summary

Maintains hotel facilities and systems to ensure guest comfort, performing repairs, preventive maintenance, and team coordination in a hospitality setting.

As a Maintenance Shift Engineer you will:

  • Be service minded

  • Actively contribute to guests' comfort

  • Carry out occasional repair work as required, following specifications and handles any unexpected problems

  • Prevent problems from occurring in the hotel's technical installations

  • Implement the corrective action plans as communicated by the Technical Manager

  • Follow the preventive maintenance programme

  • Be in contact with all hotel departments

• Applies water hygiene procedures

• Run regular checks and repairs on plant rooms equipment

• Organise and support the team in order to complete different tasks

• Manage the workshop and monitor the spare parts stock

• Daily checks on hotel’s BMS to provide best possible comfort for hotel guests

• Log calls and supervise external contractors

Salary: £31,535 per year
