Maintenance Tech

Who are we: Established in 1982, Frank B. Fuhrer Wholesale is the largest beer wholesaler in southwest PA. Our location in South Side sits on 24 acres and houses 5 buildings of warehouse and office space.
Here's the pay: starting at $20/hour with overtime paid after 8 hours each day.
Here's the schedule: Monday-Friday: 8:30am – 5:00pm

Now that you know about the hours, pay and benefits, let's talk about the job itself.
A Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining all machinery, mechanical equipment, building structures, facilities grounds and tools. You would also be responsible for general maintenance as well as any welding, plumbing, electrical, HVACR equipment and mechanical equipment.
Here's more of what you will do:
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on all equipment, machines, building systems & facilities grounds. Regularly inspect, operate and test such items.
- Clean and lubricate shafts bearings, gears and other parts of all equipment (forklifts, auto scrubbers, dock equipment, overhead doors, HVACR equipment, lawn equipment, jib cranes, etc.).
- Inspect all parts (compressors, motors, belts, chains, electrical components, filters, etc.) on all equipment and repair or replace as necessary.
- Use and maintain all tools ranging from common hand tools (hammers, saws, wrenches, screw drivers, testing devices, etc.) to all other associated tools such as power tools, lawn care equipment, etc.
- Operate and maintain welding equipment.
- Paint, repair, and/or maintain roofs, windows, doors, floors, woodwork, drywall, plumbing and other parts of the building structures.
- Perform snow removal (shovel sidewalks, operate snow plow, spread ice remover, etc.) when necessary.
