Maintenance Technichian
Summary
Maintains and repairs production and packaging equipment in a manufacturing setting, performing emergency and scheduled maintenance using mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills, while supporting safety audits and general building upkeep.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service
- Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and adjust
- Performs mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of packaging and production machines
- Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties
- Reads and interprets equipment manuals, schematics and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
- General building maintenance duties including light repair and replacement, trash management, recycling, and plumbing
- Function as a key member of JBC Safety Team
- Conduct 5S and Safety Audits
- Ordering parts and tooling as needed and approved by management
- Comply with OSHA Safety Guidelines
- Submit CPARS to Quality as they arise to uphold our commitment to continuous improvement
- Maintain a clean and safe work station
