Maintenance Technician - 1st shift

Cooper Farms is hiring a 1st shift Maintenance Technician at our Spring Meadow Farms egg processing facility in Rossburg, Ohio (Darke County).

$$ 3,000 SIGN-ON BONUS $$

(Sign-On Bonus to be paid as $1,000 at thirty days, $1,000 at sixty days and $1,000 at six months. Rehires qualify a year after termination.)

Pay & Schedule

• Starting Pay: $17.50-$34.00+ (dependent upon experience)
• Potential increase after 90 days
• Monthly and Year-End Profit-Sharing Bonuses (based on company performance)
• Schedule:
  • Rotating schedule of Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday one week to Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday the next week
  • 5:00am-4:30pm with occasional overtime

What You'll Do

• Maintain and repair all plant production and mechanical systems in a timely, efficient, and precise manner, while maximizing production operation
• Properly and legibly complete all required documentation including but not limited to: PM’s, PSM, work orders, etc.
• Utilize I-Maintenance program to ensure the preventative maintenance program is followed and kept up to date.

What We're Looking For

• Must at least 18 years old with a minimum of two years maintenance experience.
• Must have strong mechanical skills as well as written and verbal communication skills.
• Electrical knowledge of 480/240/120, control circuits and basic computer knowledge is preferred.
• Two-year vocational degree in maintenance is preferred.
• Maintenance experience on Egg Processing Machinery is strongly preferred.
