Maintenance Technician - A

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to work at our process facility in Port Arthur, Texas. The successful candidate must be able to work well in a team environment. The position reports directly to the maintenance supervisor.

Job Requirements

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on plant equipment, pumps, motors, valves, piping systems, conveyors, and treatment systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment to minimize downtime.
• Inspect, maintain, and repair equipment supporting wastewater treatment, industrial waste processing, and equipment cleaning operations.
• Conduct routine inspections of facility infrastructure and identify maintenance needs before failures occur.
• Ensure all maintenance activities are completed in compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations, company policies, and standard operating procedures.
• Advancement is available for those with mechanical aptitude and motivation.
• Position will involve some overtime.
• Work schedule may vary.

Experience:

• Basic knowledge of welding is required.
• A strong mechanical aptitude is required.
• Experience in Industrial Maintenance
• Mechanical skills
• Repairing industrial equipment
• With 3-Phrase motors
• The following equipment: centrifugal & air-operated diaphragm pumps, blowers, and compressors.

Physical requirements:

• Working indoors and outdoors (in all weather conditions),
• Standing, walking, climbing stairs and ladders,
• Working at heights
