Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for overall maintenance of the ACS building and shop.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, lubrication, and servicing of equipment as scheduled.
  
  

• Diagnose and fix mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues quickly to minimize downtime.
  
  

• Install, assemble, and set up new machinery and production lines.
  
  

• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used.
  
  

• Adhere to all facility safety protocols, OSHA standards, and lockout/tagout procedures.
  
  

• Must be able to proficiently read a ruler.
  
  

• Assist in office and cubical moves.
  
  

• Ability to perform yardwork such as mowing, weeding, and snow shoveling.
  
  

• Other duties as assigned.
  
  

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  
  

• Minimum of 1 year working in a maintenance position.
  
  

• Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  
  

• Must have working knowledge of both mechanical and electrical principles.
  
  

Technical Skills

• Must be able to use basic tools such as a drill.
  
  

Work Environment

• Capable of standing, bending, kneeling, and lifting for long periods of time.
  
  

• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs.
