Maintenance Technician
Location: Tarboro, NC, USA

The purpose of this position is to monitor and maintain the equipment used in the manufacturing process as well as provide daily customer support.
Job Summary:
* Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment
* Root cause analysis of machine downtime, scrap, etc
* Perform preventive maintenance
* Lead improvement projects on assigned processes
* Maintain and support equipment calibration requirements
* Additional duties as prescribed by the coordinators

Knowledge skills and abilities:
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, high level of accuracy
* Maintains clean and orderly work environment
* Interacts with various levels of associates
* Improves manufacturing proficiency levels to meet plant goals and objectives
* Maintains knowledge of all processes, procedures, and equipment
* Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of organization
* Ability to handle multiple functions and deadlines, work independently and make effective decisions.
* Commitment to high standards and the ability to inspire those qualities in others
* Willingness and ability to support and train others
* Strong work ethic
* Must be flexible to adapt to changing requirements
* Ability to work overtime on short notice to support production requirements and TPM completion
* Ability to work different shifts and/or times should the need arise to support production and complete TPMs
