Maintenance Technician

Amazing Views of the Smokies is looking for a hands-on, reliable, and self-motivated Maintenance Technician to perform repairs, preventative maintenance, and property inspections across our short-term rental portfolio. This position plays a critical role in ensuring each property is guest-ready, safe, and maintained to high standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general maintenance and repairs (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, painting, carpentry, etc.)

• Troubleshoot and respond quickly to maintenance issues and guest-related service calls

• Complete preventative maintenance and routine property inspections

• Coordinate with vendors for specialized repairs when necessary

• Maintain maintenance logs and report completed work

• Ensure properties meet company quality and safety standards

• Assist with offboarding/onboarding property setup as needed

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

• Previous experience in general maintenance, construction, or property management

• Working knowledge of home systems (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc.)

• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Willingness to work weekends and rotate on-call shifts
