Maintenance Technician

SUMMARY: Responsible for maintaining and repairing furniture, equipment, fixtures, walls, minor construction, and general maintenance of Resort property and other associated properties.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties: (Specific areas of responsibility including, but not limited to)

• Maintains and repairs furniture, plumbing equipment, fixtures, walls, etc.
• Performs minor construction, painting and installation of electrical circuitry.
• Performs remodeling jobs such as: sheet rock installation, custom cabinet work, table games repair and minor equipment repairs as required.
• Basic understanding of liquid propane kitchen equipment preferred.
• Basic understanding of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration preferred.
• Sheet rock finishing and wall paper repair preferred.
• Comprehension of blueprints and schematics preferred.
• Performs maintenance on drainage pipes up to, and including, the clearing of clogs.
• Provides professional, courteous and cordial service to all Team Members and Guests.
• Safely operates various power and hand tools.
• Performs duties in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
