Summary:
Manage maintenance of regional facilities and equipment, including preventative maintenance and urgent repair needs.
Pay: $20/hr
Shift: 8:00am - 4:00pm - Monday - Friday - on call as needed
*******We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician with a strong background in painting, spackling, drywall repair, and plumbing, along with a basic working knowledge of electrical and HVAC systems. Candidates must have a minimum of two years of relevant maintenance experience to be considered for this position.
Responsibilities:
- Complete a variety of remodeling tasks and provide a safe and secure working/living environment for all regional facilities.
- Provide counsel to management regarding facility issues.
- Handle and/or supervise snow removal and landscaping.
- Respond to off-hours facility emergencies. Participate in risk management at a corporate level.
- Maintain compliance with all applicable Building, NFPA, CARF/Life Safety Codes and regulations.
- Complete required trainings and mandatory training hours.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Required experience in Carpentry and Plumbing - Knowing the basics around Electrical, General Building Maintenance, and HVAC Maintenance is fine.
- Valid Driver’s License required. High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task. Maintain confidentiality and provide a safe/therapeutic environment.
- Effective time management skills.
