Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of manufacturing and facility machinery. The focus is on preventative maintenance tasks and accurately diagnosing and repairing equipment.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

· Install, troubleshoot, and repair industrial machines and equipment (mills, blenders, conveyors, pulverizes, crushers, etc.)

· Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on manufacturing and facility machinery

· Troubleshoot mechanical components of PLCs and collaborate with engineers on electrical/programmable issues

· Utilize CMMS to enter, review, and close work orders and preventative maintenance orders

· Communicate downtime events, solutions, and lead times with the production team

· Maintain a clean working station and inventory of parts and tools

· Request quotes from vendors, order parts, inspect received parts for quality, and approve installation

· Serve as an expert in all things maintenance-related and facilitate training as requested

· Comply with all safety protocols (PPE, lockout/tag out, confined spaces)
