About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team in Lagos. The person will install, maintain and repair electrical systems and equipment on our construction projects and client sites, and make sure everything works safely and well.
Responsibilities
- Carry out routine checks and maintenance on electrical systems and equipment
- Find and fix electrical faults and breakdowns
- Install and test electrical fittings, wiring, panels and lighting on site
- Support the construction team with electrical and general maintenance work
- Respond quickly to repair and maintenance requests
- Keep clear records of all work done, including maintenance reports
- Follow all health and safety rules on site
- Make sure tools and equipment are in good condition
Requirements
Requirements
- OND/HND or a trade certificate in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- At least 2 years' experience as a maintenance or electrical technician, preferably in construction
- Good knowledge of electrical installation, wiring and fault finding
- Ability to read electrical drawings and technical manuals
- Good knowledge of site safety practices
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Willingness to work on different sites and, when needed, outside normal hours
- A valid driver's licence is an advantage
