About the role
A company in the food sector is looking for a Maintenance Technician to work in Burgos and perform the following tasks:
What you'll do
- Comply with the technical maintenance instructions for machinery.
- Execute corrective maintenance activities in the plant, following the agreed and shared standards, processes, and procedures, in accordance with work orders, on time, and with the required quality in order to minimize machine downtime, ensuring their correct and high-quality operation.
- Analyze and investigate the causes of incidents and breakdowns occurring in the machinery that necessitate corrective maintenance.
- Execute equipment inspection and assembly activities in accordance with work orders.
- Maintenance, updating, and documentary management of equipment manuals.
- Prepare incident reports.
- Control the activities of external technical services in the plant, ensuring they comply with company regulations.
- Participate in the assembly of new production means and general plant installations.
- Participate in improvement group meetings (Kaizen, KPIs).
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve the performance of machinery and line installations.
- Comply with OHS and environmental regulations, measures, and instructions, collaborating in the improvement of plant standards.
- Comply with company policies and regulations regarding quality control and food safety.
- Prepare the periodic studies and reports established within their scope of responsibility, as well as those special reports requested by the maintenance manager.
- Among other tasks related to the job position.
What we're looking for
- 2 years of experience in maintenance positions.
- We are looking for a proactive, autonomous, and committed person.
- Knowledge of OSH regulations.
- Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing.
- Knowledge of MRP, SAP, and maintenance applications.
Nice to have
- Residence near the workplace is valued.
Education & certifications
- Intermediate or Higher Degree in Mechatronics, Industrial Electromechanics, or similar.
Languages
- Fluent in spoken and written Spanish.
