Maintenance Technician

About the role

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to work in a plastic products manufacturing company located in Utebo. The tasks to be performed are as follows:

-Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of machinery and production facilities.

- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic faults.

-Guarantee the correct functioning of the production lines to minimize stops and downtime.

- Execute planned maintenance tasks following established procedures.

-Participate in the commissioning, adjustments, and format changes of the production machines.

-Record the interventions carried out and complete the corresponding technical documentation.

- Collaborate in the continuous improvement of production processes, proposing actions that optimize equipment performance.

-Supervise the state of the plant's general facilities and coordinate repairs when necessary.

- Manage and control the stock of spare parts and materials necessary for maintenance.

- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, environmental, and occupational risk prevention standards.

-Collaborate with the different departments to guarantee production continuity and efficiency.

-Participate in the installation and adaptation of new equipment or technical improvements in the plant.

- Among other tasks inherent to the job position.

Education & certifications

• Training in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, Electricity, Electromechanics, or similar.

Languages

Fluent in spoken and written Spanish.

Requirements

• Knowledge of mechanics, industrial electricity, pneumatics, and hydraulics.

Experience in industrial environments and automated production lines.

• We are looking for a person with analytical capacity and technical incident resolution skills, proactive, organized, and oriented toward teamwork.
• Residence near the workplace is valued.
