Maintenance Technician

Join our team as a Maintenance Technician! -We are seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to oversee the daily maintenance and upkeep of an entire shopping mall. This individual will be responsible for performing routine inspections, troubleshooting maintenance issues, completing repairs and ensuring that the facility remains safe, clean and fully operational.
Schedule Hours:
7:00am-3:30pm -weekend are required
Job Description:
- Pot Hole Patching (check parking lot pole Bases, check parking lot signs, remove any tree branches, check for sink holes)
- Store front trash and exterior trash cans (including Casino and Marshalls)
- Complete work orders from Mall Office
- Check Floor Tile. Replace Any Missing /Cracked Tiles
- Sweep Back Hallways - Scrub Back Hallways
- Scrub floors and clean Floor Scrubber
- Water plants
- Clean compacter rooms
- Replace any burnt out interior light bulbs
- Roof Inspection and Keep roof drains clear
- Remove any debris and Clean Stairwells
- Inspect Riser and Electrical Rooms
- Check Landscaping
- Vacant Space Inspections
- Put water down drains and clean up any debris
- Pressure Wash Trash Totes and Pressure Wash Interior Trash Cans
- Clean Hand Dryer Filters and Replace Air Fresheners, check sanitizers.
- Pressure Wash Food Court Highchairs
- High Dusting and Vent Cleaning and Dust Half Moon Lights
- Clean Service Doors
- Water Meter Readings
- Clean/Inspect Back Hallway Heaters (Sept-Oct)
- Turn On Back Hallway Heaters (Oct - Nov) and Turn Off Back Hallway Heater (April - May)
- Check Christmas Hang Lights (Oct)
- Adjust Timers on Pylon Signs When Needed
- Perform other assigned duties to support operations.
Requirements:
- Must have basic computer and phone skills to work with Store Managers, Contractors and Client.
- On call to coordinate mall plumbing, fire and electrical issues while not on site.
- Basic repair knowledge/problem solving in plumbing, mechanical (door repairs), patching tile and asphalt.
- Lift operations, overseeing staff and auditing of Mall to make sure it meets standards.
- Good time management and attention to detail
- Must be able to listen to customer requests and follow supervisor instructions
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
- Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision
