Shaw Bakers is currently hiring Maintenance Technicians Levels 1, 2, and 3 across shifts in our South San Francisco location.

Maintenance Technicians perform the installation, PM, PdM, mechanical/electrical repair and troubleshooting of all plant and facility equipment, following all plant safety requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Job Duties:
• Understands, follows and enforces all established safety, health, quality GMP and Company policies, procedures and recognized practices.
• Understands, follows and enforces all established policies, procedures and recognized practices.
• Engages in the welding and fabrication of parts as required based on design build specs.
• Performs PM (Preventative Maintenance) and PdM (Predictive Maintenance) tasks as assigned.
• Performs a wide variety of mechanical maintenance and repair of production equipment and machinery using a variety of hand, gas and electrically powered tools.
• Responds to emergency calls and makes immediate repairs to prevent equipment down time
• Participates in machinery troubleshooting.
• Assembles and re-assembles equipment; examines and tests mechanisms.
• Inspects and calibrates instrumentation.
• Tests equipment and adjusts calibration to ensure equipment is functioning within specified standards.
• Interprets technical documents (prints, manuals etc.) as required
• Promotes occupational safety standards; gives others feedback on their safety performance
• Performs electrical installations/troubleshooting; installs wiring and conduit safely in compliance with
company, state and federal regulations.
• Trains and oversees Maintenance Technician I in troubleshooting, installation and repairs of mechanical
and electrical systems.
• Assist and train production employees in proper operation and maintenance of machinery
