We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our apartment community team. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the physical condition, safety, and appearance of the property by performing routine maintenance, repairs, preventative maintenance, and resident service requests. This role plays a critical part in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring resident satisfaction.
The ideal candidate has experience in residential maintenance, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently while maintaining a positive, professional attitude.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete resident service requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Perform preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment.
- Diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance, carpentry, and general maintenance issues.
- Prepare vacant apartments for new residents, including repairs, painting, cleaning, and inspections.
- Conduct property inspections and identify maintenance or safety concerns.
- Maintain grounds, amenities, common areas, and building exteriors.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests and participate in an on-call rotation as required.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and local building codes.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and maintenance activities.
- Assist with vendor coordination and monitor contractor performance when needed.
