Maintenance Technician/Manager

The MaintenanceTech/ Manager is responsible for ensuring that the maintenance shop meets the needs of IBC Management.

Position Responsibilities:

• Experience in general maintenance, good mechanical aptitude, able to work on multiple tasks and the ability to follow direction is required
• Industrial and Commercial work experience is a plus
• Exposure to various skilled trades (i.e., mechanical, electrical, etc.).
• Knowledge of, or willingness to learn the application of using steam through associated piping to maintain product temperatures as required by manufacturer specifications.
• Repairs specific mechanical failures as needed
• Ensuring scheduled repairs completed, and necessity to adjust schedule to meet emergencies
• Trains mechanics on specifics of equipment
• Manage housekeeping of facility to standards
• Performs other duties as directed
  

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must possess a high school diploma or GED, have attended a vocational technical institution studying various skilled trades or have worked in a construction environment.
• Electrical background preferred
• Must have a valid Drivers License
• Knowledge of pump and industrial equipment rebuilding and repair experience
• Professional oral and written interpersonal communication
• 3-5 years of mechanical experience
