Maintenance Technician - Manufacturing (2nd Shift) M-TH

Night Shift Maintenance Technician - Monday through Thursday; 3:30pm - 2:00 am

$2.00 per Hour Shift Premium

This position will be responsible for:
• Servicing and maintenance of facility equipment including turret presses, stamping presses, press brakes and other metal fabricating machines.
• Servicing pneumatic hand tools, power tools, machine attachments, including but not limited to replacement of parts and control modules.
• Servicing and possible cleaning of compressors, hydraulics, plumbing fixtures, motors, relays and contacts, electrical and electronic panels and controls.
• Troubleshooting machine issues; disassembling; repairing or replacing worn or defective parts.
• Equipment wiring, low and high voltage electrical work, and troubleshooting other miscellaneous electrical issues.
• Basic facility maintenance (carpentry, plumbing, furniture assembly and occasional moving, and other miscellaneous building maintenance activities.

Follow all safety procedures, such as Lockout Tagout

Successful candidates for this position will have the following qualifications and skills:
• Must be assertive in completing tasks in a timely manner and have troubleshooting skills to solve problems with minimal supervision.
• 3-5 years industrial maintenance in a manufacturing setting (metal fabrication is a plus, but not required).
• 5 years of experience in troubleshooting and repairing automated equipment.
• Consistent demonstration of troubleshooting skills and root cause analysis.
• Proven skills and knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment.
• Maintenance and improvement of manufacturing equipment.
• PLC experience is a very BIG plus, but not required.
