What You’ll Do:
- Gain comprehensive understanding of how the equipment’s mechanical systems are built and operate.
- Troubleshoot and solve any issues related to the equipment’s hardware.
- Follow manufacturer’s guidelines/manuals for service, repair, and set up.
- Respond quickly to any problem causing equipment down time.
- Collaborate with Project Manager to ensure equipment can meet its availability requirements.
- Keep accurate records of all work performed.
- Additional duties as assigned.
The Maintenance Technician works precisely and carefully to assemble equipment according to engineering drawings in-house and at the customer’s site. Assists in the commissioning of machines and systems and responds to customer’s service needs. Cross-disciplinary work is required with all trades, external companies, suppliers, and manufacturers. Diagnoses causes of malfunctions or failures and advises and helps implement corrective actions.
