Maintenance Technician (Mechanical) (Non-shift) | Chemical MNC | Tuas
Jobscope:
- Perform welding, cutting, and steel fabrication
- Maintain and repair plant mechanical systems (pumps, compressors, conveyors, valves, etc.)
- Conduct failure analysis and recommend corrective actions
- Follow company HSE, ISO and safety policies
- Identify and report hazards and unsafe conditions
- Maintain good housekeeping and safe work practices
- Participate in safety meetings and improvements
- Carry out maintenance with safety as the priority
- Perform other duties assigned by supervisor
- Support plant operations on a 24-hour basis
Requirements:
- Nitec certificate or equivalent and at least 3-5 years of industrial experience
- Safe work Practice
- Work as a team and communicate with all plant personnel.
- Able to trouble shoot
- Knowledge and able to overhaul plant equipment - Furnace steel conveyor belts, All type of rotating equipment, Welding and fabrication work.
