Maintenance Technician

Are you an experienced Maintenance Technician with a strong electrical and mechanical background in print manufacturing? Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment, including presses, bindery equipment, and facility systems.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment issues.
• Respond promptly to machine breakdowns to minimize production downtime.
• Install, adjust, and test equipment to ensure proper operation and safety compliance.
• Inspect machines and equipment to identify potential failures and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, repairs, and parts used.
• Collaborate with production operators to identify recurring equipment issues and implement long-term solutions.
• Assist in equipment setups, changeovers, and machinery installations as needed.
• Perform basic welding, fabrication, and mechanical repairs when required.
• Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, and spare parts.
• Follow all safety protocols, including lockout/tagout (LOTO), OSHA regulations, and company safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe maintenance shop and work environment.
• Support facility maintenance needs, including lighting, HVAC, and general building repairs.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.
• Assist in training operators on proper equipment use and basic troubleshooting.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
