Maintenance Technician - Night Shift

Job Purpose

The purpose of the Maintenance Technician is to provide industrial maintenance to manufacturing equipment to ensure that Company equipment is kept in working order and compliance with all HC Safety standards. The position requires a skill set involving, but not limited to hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, fabrication, and electrical (especially 480-three-phase electrical). This position requires you to work in a warm temperature environment throughout your shift. You would be required to obtain a full range of motion from standing, reaching, moving, bending, and lifting up to 40lbs as necessary.

Key Responsibilities

• Learn the manufacturing process as it relates to equipment start-up, operations, and our company procedures

• Complete scheduled preventative maintenance activities as well as unscheduled repairs on industrial equipment and various other machines; repairs include but are not limited to electrical, hydraulic/pneumatic, electrical, electronic systems, circuits, controls, panels, relays

• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with equipment and make necessary adjustments

• Operate electrical hand tools and voltage or amp measuring devices

• Works from blueprints

• Lead by example and perform all job duties in accordance with The HC Companies values

• Perform other duties as required by supervisors or managers
