POSITION:

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the safe, functional, and well-maintained condition of buildings, equipment, and grounds. This role performs routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical systems, and general building needs. The Maintenance Technician supports daily operations by responding to maintenance requests, documenting work performed, and ensuring all tasks are completed in compliance with safety standards and building codes.

This position requires some nights, weekends, and holidays.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, equipment, and systems to identify maintenance needs or safety concerns.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair issues related to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, mechanical systems, and kitchen appliances.
• Perform minor repairs and installations, including locks, fixtures, drywall, appliances, and equipment.
• Complete preventative maintenance tasks such as changing filters, replacing lightbulbs, servicing machinery, and performing routine upkeep
• Maintain control panels, wiring, and system components in accordance with safety and code requirements
• Perform general cleaning duties, including dusting, mopping, trash removal, and maintaining work areas
• Maintain outdoor areas through mowing, basic landscaping, and grounds upkeep
• Accurately document and maintenance work, repairs performed, and materials or supplies used
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and prioritize tasks based on urgency and operational impact.
• Follow all company safety policies, OSHA guidelines, and applicable building codes.
• Always have constant awareness of safety hazards and report findings to supervisor.
• Communicate maintenance issues, hazards, and repair timelines to supervisors or management.
• Assist with special projects and additional maintenance duties as assigned.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, storage spaces, and equipment.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
