Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician will ensure effective plant maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical breakdowns, perform preventive maintenance, and collaborate with departments to resolve safety, quality, and productivity issues.
Responsibilities
- Maintain plant equipment and machinery to comply with company safety standards and ensure operational efficiency
- Troubleshoot daily mechanical and electrical breakdowns to minimize downtime
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks to extend equipment lifespan and prevent failures
- Modify existing machinery and equipment to improve functionality or address issues
- Conduct daily inspections and checks on plant equipment and machinery to identify potential problems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve safety, quality, and productivity challenges
- Implement 5S workplace organization practices and manage equipment spare parts inventory
- Update and maintain the daily maintenance schedule to track completed and pending tasks
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned to support plant operations
Required competencies and certifications
- Technical certificate or Polytechnic Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical) or equivalent
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems
- Willingness to work overtime and shift work
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Knowledge of Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (PNIDs), electrical drawings, and assembly line operations
