Maintenance Technician
Job Description:
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on machinery, equipment, and building systems
- Diagnose faults and perform repairs on equipment and facility issues
- Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance issues and safety risks
- Respond to maintenance requests and emergency breakdowns promptly
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, checklists, and work orders
- Ensure tools, equipment, and spare parts are properly maintained and stored
- Coordinate and supervise external contractors and service providers
- Comply with workplace safety, health, and environmental regulations
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency
- Assist in emergency response situations (e.g. power failure, water leaks, fire alarms)
Requirements:
- NITEC, Higher NITEC, Diploma, or equivalent in Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, Maintenance, or related fields
- Relevant experience in facilities and machines maintenance, engineering, or technical roles
- Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and/or automation systems
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices and troubleshooting techniques
- Ability to read technical drawings, manuals, and schematics
- Physically fit and willing to perform hands‑on technical work
