Industrial Maintenance Technician – Electrical & Mechanical

Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday; overtime, weekends, and extended hours as needed
About the Position
The Diez Group Kansas City specializes in steel and aluminum coil blanking for automotive stamping. We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician with strong electrical and mechanical skills to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and improve production equipment and facility systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical systems.
- Diagnose PLCs, VFDs, motors, controls, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
- Repair and maintain bearings, belts, chains, pumps, and drives.
- Read electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.
- Perform electrical and mechanical inspections and adjustments.
- Maintain facility systems, including electrical, lighting, HVAC, and plumbing.
- Complete and document preventive maintenance and repairs in CMMS.
- Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and all safety procedures.
- Identify equipment issues and support continuous improvement.
- Follow ISO 14001 and IATF 16949 requirements.
