Maintenance Worker
Full-Time, Non-Exempt | Reports to the Maintenance Supervisor
LifeSkills Connection, Inc. is hiring a Maintenance Worker to help keep our facilities safe, well-maintained, and running smoothly. You'll work side by side with our Maintenance Supervisor to make sure repairs and day-to-day operations get done right and on time — this is a hands-on role with real ownership, not a job where you're left to figure it out alone.

- Evaluate and periodically inspect systems and facilities to identify maintenance and repairs that need to be performed
- Perform maintenance at LifeSkills facilities as assigned, and operate and maintain LifeSkills equipment
- Ensure maintenance and repair work is completed correctly and in a timely manner, in line with quality standards and health and safety regulations
- Help coordinate scheduled maintenance audits of equipment and assist in developing maintenance procedures and schedules
- Help maintain files of warranties, records, licenses, inspections, service agreements, and contracts for our equipment
- Partner with the Supervisor and your teammates — maintenance here is a team sport
What You'll Bring
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least five years of maintenance experience, with solid knowledge of maintenance and equipment procedures
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize your work
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Clear written and verbal communication, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A reliable, high-energy approach, and the ownership mindset to drive activities through to completion
