Maintenance Worker

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Perform general building maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance.

• Respond to maintenance requests through our electronic work order/ticketing system, ensuring timely completion and accurate documentation.

• Coordinate equipment maintenance, inspections, servicing, and preventive maintenance schedules to ensure medical, dental, and facility equipment remains safe, functional, and in compliance with applicable requirements. Maintain accurate service records and coordinate with vendors and service providers as needed.

• Troubleshoot and address basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and facility-related issues within the scope of training and qualifications.

• Assist with furniture assembly, equipment installation, moving, and facility improvement projects.

• Conduct routine facility inspections to identify safety concerns, maintenance needs, and opportunities for improvement.

• Coordinate with outside contractors and vendors when necessary.

• Assist with seasonal property maintenance, including snow and ice removal.

• Travel between UPC locations as needed to support facility operations.

• Maintain a safe, organized work environment while following applicable safety and regulatory requirements.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• One (1) to five (5) years maintenance experience required
• Basic HVAC, plumbing, and electrical knowledge preferred
• Must have a valid New York or Pennsylvania State license with reliable transportation
• Must possess basic computer skills
• Must possess good interpersonal and communication skills
• Must be able to follow directions, read manuals, and understand drawings
• Must be able to provide flexible hours of work
