Job Purpose
To deliver a premium level of makeup artistry to customers in-store and during promotions and events, while suggesting and advising on products and techniques to support store sales.
Key Responsibilities
Functional Roles:
- Welcome customers for makeovers, identify their needs, and recommend suitable products while delivering the service
- Demonstrate product application techniques and provide personalized advice
- Promote cross-selling by recommending complementary products
- Build relationships with repeat customers and follow up on their makeup requirements
- Implement new makeup techniques based on training received from suppliers
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and presentation within the beauty room/makeup studio
- Represent the brand at sponsored events (e.g., fashion shows) to enhance brand awareness
- Support store teams during promotions to drive sales and elevate brand image
Job Requirements
Education & Certification:
- High school / “O” levels
- Additional qualifications in makeup artistry / cosmetology
- Trade test certification
- Beauty academy certification (levels 2 & 3 preferred)
Experience:
- 1-2 years of experience as a make up artist
