JOB DESCRIPTION – MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT

Role Purpose

Provide strategic financial analysis, budgeting support, and management reporting to support decision-making and improve financial performance of the company.

Reports To:

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting

• Prepare monthly and quarterly management accounts.

• Analyse financial statements and provide insights to management.

Budgeting & Forecasting

• Support preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.

  • Monitor budget performance and analyse variances.

Cost Management

• Conduct cost analysis and recommend efficiency improvements.

  • Monitor operational costs across business units.

Compliance & Internal Controls

• Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.

  • Support internal and external audit processes.

Financial Data & Systems

• Maintain financial databases and reporting templates.

  • Ensure accuracy of financial data and reconciliations.

JOB SPECIFICATION

Qualification & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration (mandatory).

• Professional qualification: CPA, ACCA, CIMA

• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in accounting or financial management.

• At least 3 years in a senior accounting or financial reporting role.
