Management and Program Analyst (Contracting Officer Representative)

Joining the Secret Service, Office of Field Operations, National Computer Forensics Institute will allow you to be the office authority on acquisition management and be relied on by the management staff to provide authoritative advice and guidance on execution of acquisition policies, strategies, plans and program baselines. The selectee will serve as a Management and Program Analyst (Contracting Officer Representative) in the Office of Field Operations, National Computer Forensics. Typical work assignments include: Researching and analyzing data, policies, procedures, or other organizational line program operation that requires evaluation to determine if stated objectives are being met. Serving as a Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) for acquisition programs when contracting is required. Monitoring and verifying contractor performance and compliance with the terms, conditions, and specifications of the contract. Providing guidance with the development of all required documentation, submission and tracking of Purchase Requisitions (PRs). Preparing briefing documents or executive summaries that highlight data analysis in a clear and concise manner. Participating in the preparation and presentation of briefing materials regarding procurement concerns, new initiatives, performance statistics and program improvements. Must obtain Federal Acquisition Certification-Contracting Officer's Representative (FAC-COR) Level 3 certification within 18 months of promotion to the GS-12 grade level. As a condition of employment for accepting this position, you may be required to serve a 1-year probationary period or 2-year trial period during which we will evaluate your fitness and whether your continued employment advances the public interest.
