Analyzes and advises on administrative policies and management processes for U.S. Customs and Border Protection, coordinating planning and supporting executive leadership with project oversight.
Organizational Location: This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Office of Information and Technology, Workforce Management Division, located in Ashburn, VA. Additional selections may be made to include other organizational divisions and/or units within the duty location(s) listed above.
In this position, you will utilize your expertise in various administrative skills to provide project-related, advisory, and technical services. This position starts at a salary of $121,785.00 (GS-13, Step 1) to $158,322.00 (GS-13, Step 10). In this Management and Program Analyst position you will become a key team member of Homeland Security professionals. Typical work assignments include: Planning, developing, and coordinating planning management through briefings, presentations and conferences for executive management and various levels of CBP leadership. Taking or recommending actions to achieve organizational objectives and recommending future program objectives and improvements. Articulating and communicating team assignments, projects, issues, events, milestones, and deadlines. Overseeing and troubleshooting any project issues or conflicts, including balancing conflicting priorities and requirements. Providing technical assistance and direct support to management staff in all matters relating to the application of planning systems and management programs.
