Management and Program Analyst (Direct Hire)
Summary
Manages NASA aircraft research contracts, coordinates technical work across agencies and industry, and tracks project budgets and milestones to advance advanced aircraft technology.
Serves as a Project Integration Specialist supporting the Advanced Aircraft Project Office by managing research and development contracts, coordinating technical activities, and integrating work across NASA, industry, and other government organizations. The position supports strategic technology development, project execution, and collaboration to advance NASA's advanced aircraft research mission.
Duties described below are at the highest grade advertised. Duties assigned at lower grade levels will be of more limited scope, performed with less independence and limited complexity; duties will be commensurate with the grade of selected employee.
Serve as the primary Contracting Officer's Representative for Advanced Aircraft Project Office contracts and task orders supporting multiple NASA Centers.
Manage contract efforts supporting the development of advanced aircraft technologies and mission capabilities.
Perform project planning, analysis, forecasting, and resource management; develop schedules and present project status and recommendations to Center and Agency leadership.
Provide technical guidance supporting contract execution, new procedures, systems, equipment, and advanced aircraft technology development.
Coordinate contract activities across NASA organizations to achieve program objectives and technical milestones.
Formulate project and research plans to advance the state-of-the-art in advanced aircraft systems.
Establish partnerships across NASA, industry, and other organizations to advance Advanced Aircraft Project Office objectives.
